Description
The Texas School for the Deaf is seeking proposals from qualified staffing agencies to provide related and support services, including Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), and Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) services, on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. The contractor will be responsible for providing services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, including evaluations, direct services, and consultative services. The contractor must have experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students in a school setting and must be licensed and certified in their respective fields.
* Key services include:
* LSSP: determining evaluation measures, conducting testing, and identifying special service needs
* SLP: conducting communication evaluations, providing direct services, and developing speech and language goals
* OT: providing direct occupational therapy services, conducting evaluations, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
* The contractor must comply with TSD policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and electronic devices.
* The contractor must also provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to complete the services.
* TSD reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time with written notice.
