Description
Judson Independent School District (JISD) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide the complete annual testing and inspection of its water‑based fire‑protection systems—including fire hydrants, sprinkler heads, control valves, alarms, fire‑pump testing, and related components—across all district campuses and facilities. The work must be performed by licensed, certified technicians in accordance with NFPA 25 and all applicable codes, and must include detailed written reports, photographs, and recommendations for corrective action. The contract is a fixed‑price, two‑year base term with up to three one‑year extensions, and the vendor must supply a single all‑inclusive price.
• Perform annual NFPA 25‑compliant testing/inspection of hydrants, sprinklers, valves, alarms, pumps, and related components at every JISD site.
• Provide licensed technicians, all labor, materials, equipment, travel, insurance, and a minimum one‑year warranty on parts and labor.
• Deliver comprehensive written reports (PDF) after each site visit, including test results, deficiencies, photos, and corrective‑action recommendations.
• Coordinate scheduling with the district’s Security Systems Administrator to minimize disruption to school operations.
• Meet extensive compliance requirements (SB 9 background checks, insurance minimums, anti‑lobbying certifications, etc.) and submit proposals in person (sealed envelope + USB) by the deadline.
