Florin Safe Stay Shelter

The Sacramento County Department of Homeless Services and Housing (DHSH) is seeking a qualified provider to operate a year-round, 24-hour emergency shelter. The selected proposer will be responsible for day-to-day operations, case management services, facility maintenance, shuttle transportation, meal service, and site upkeep. The shelter provides services to 125 adults nightly, aged 18 and over, who were previously experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Sacramento County. • The shelter has 100 sleeping cabins and serves up to 125 adults nightly. • The selected proposer will be responsible for day-to-day operations, case management services, and facility maintenance. • The shelter provides shuttle transportation, meal service, and site upkeep. • The shelter is constructed on leased property and provides sheltering and housing services to people experiencing homelessness.
