Description
The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a contractor to design and build a microgrid integrating an existing solar photovoltaic system, a new battery energy storage system, and a new generator at the Municipal Service Center. The microgrid will enable off-grid autonomous operation of the facility and provide utility energy arbitrage and peak demand reduction. The contractor will be responsible for procurement and construction of the generator and switchboard, design and engineering of the battery energy storage system, and integration of the microgrid.
