SPCA (Placer) Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement

The City of Roseville is soliciting proposals for the SPCA (Placer) Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement. This project involves replacing three rooftop HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency, ensure adequate ventilation, and maintain optimal temperature and air quality conditions necessary for animal health, disease control, and staff comfort. The selected contractor will be responsible for obtaining, preparing, and submitting all necessary documentation, permits, approvals, and certifications required for the design, engineering, and execution of the project. • The project includes the replacement of three rooftop HVAC units (MAU-7, AC-3, and AC-6) with indirect cooling, supplemental inline heat, balancing exhaust, and verification of structural support. • The contractor must ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as best practices for animal care facilities. • The project requires a mandatory pre-proposal job walk, and proposals from contractors who do not attend will be rejected. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities in proposals.
