Oil Water Separator Design/Install

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to design and install a gravity-fed oil water separator (OWS) system at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. The system must capture and remove 99% of free and dispersed hydrocarbons larger than 20 microns, with integrated sensors for real-time monitoring. The work involves excavation, shoring, foundations, plumbing, site electrical work, controls/alarms work, and commissioning. The contractor must have experience with similar projects and provide a detailed technical proposal, including a safety plan, excavation plan, and resumes of key personnel. • The system must handle wastewater from aircraft maintenance operations and ensure compliance with EPA, DoD, and NPDES regulations. • The contractor must have a robust safety culture and provide a comprehensive safety plan. • The project duration is estimated to be 210 days. • The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
