Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to refurbish multiple Air Handling Units (AHUs) at the Fort Wayne VA Medical Center. The work includes surface cleaning, removal of non‑compliant coatings, structural reinforcement, application of epoxy, fire‑barrier, antimicrobial top‑coat, and final protective coating on ducts, fans, and related components. Work will be performed on 2–3 units concurrently over approximately six consecutive days, with a required site‑visit on 1 Sept 2026 and a firm‑fixed‑price contract. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision, hold the required VA subcontracting certification, and coordinate at least three months prior to start.
