Description
The Orleans Parish School Board is seeking a contractor to provide family engagement specific to LEP and immigrant families and school staff training in the immigrant experience. The scope of work includes facilitating workshops and providing direct services to LEP and immigrant families, as well as training school staff on the English Learner and immigrant experience. The contractor must be able to provide a rate per service inclusive of both direct and indirect costs. The contract term will be for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods.
• The contractor must be able to facilitate workshops for and provide direct services to LEP and immigrant families.
• The contractor must be able to provide training about the English Learner and immigrant experience to school and contracted staff.
• The contractor must be able to specify a rate per service inclusive of both direct and indirect costs.
• The contractor must be able to provide services to approximately 500 students across 25 school sites.
• The contractor must be able to provide services that are culturally competent and responsive to the needs of LEP and immigrant families.
