Senior Strategic Communications Advisor, Partner Relations

The City of Vancouver is seeking a Senior Strategic Communications Advisor, Partner Relations for the FIFA World Cup 26TM Vancouver. The position will report to the Host Committee Lead and Chief Delivery Officer and work in close collaboration with various functional leads and partners. Services include leveraging strategic marketing and communications plans, facilitating alignment on an overarching narrative and a multi-party communications framework, and being a strategic conduit between the Host Committee and the Province of British Columbia. The estimated value of the contract is approximately $105,000.00 before taxes, excluding reimbursable expenses for the initial term of approximately 5 months. • Leverage strategic marketing and communications plans • Facilitate alignment on an overarching narrative and a multi-party communications framework • Be a strategic conduit between the Host Committee and the Province of British Columbia • Prepare and support the Host Committee’s Marketing and Communications team and other partners’ marketing and communications teams • Ensure clear, consistent, coordinated and timely messaging between partners
