Description
This solicitation seeks one rapid Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) instrument for bloodstream infections, plus five years of maintenance (base year plus four optional years). The instrument must provide same‑day (3‑8 hour) MIC results for Gram‑negative (and optionally Gram‑positive) pathogens, integrate with VA’s MAESTRIA middleware, and include full installation, validation, training, and annual support. Delivery is FOB destination to the Jack C. Montgomery VAMC in Muskogee, OK, with installation limited to normal business hours and no work on federal holidays. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price, all‑or‑nothing, and will be awarded to the technically acceptable offer with the lowest price.
