Right of Way Maintenance RFP

The City of Canton is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide right of way maintenance for City of Canton Streets. The work areas are generally defined by city streets, city medians, and landscape areas. No work will be performed on private property. The scope of work includes right of way mowing, trash and debris removal, maintenance of hard surfaces, and edging/trimming. The contract period is 7 months, from April 1, 2026, to November 1, 2026. • Right of way mowing: The contractor will be responsible for mowing grass within the City's right of way, including beauty strips, and removing weeds from sidewalks, stairs, and roadways. • Trash and debris removal: The contractor will be responsible for removing trash and debris from the City's right of way. • Maintenance of hard surfaces: The contractor will be responsible for removing sediment and other materials from curb lines, catch basin inlets, and concrete surfaces. • Edging/trimming: The contractor will be responsible for edging and trimming along walls, fences, foundations, and other structures within the City's right of way.
