Electric On-Call Services

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is seeking a qualified firm to provide electric on-call services, including overhead and underground distribution line work, on an as-needed basis. The successful respondent will be required to perform work under individual project-based work authorizations, with pricing based on unit prices proposed in the respondent's proposal. The contract term is expected to be one year, with up to four additional one-year terms. Key services include: * Overhead distribution on-call services, such as replacing deteriorated poles and cross-arms, framing and setting new structures, and installing bare primary conductors * Underground distribution on-call services, such as pulling and terminating cable, installing pad-mounted equipment, and installing electric services * Other appurtenances necessary to complete the project The successful respondent will be required to work energized lines and shall be trained in safe work practices associated with overhead and underground energized line work.
