STI Testing Services Program

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is seeking a contractor to provide statewide laboratory testing services for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). The contractor will be responsible for providing testing services, including Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and HIV, to designated partners throughout Colorado. The contractor will also be required to provide technical assistance and training to participating agencies. • The contractor must have experience in high-volume STI laboratory testing and must be able to process multiple specimen types. • The contractor must also have the ability to receive specimens from public health clinics, community-based organizations, correctional facilities, and outreach/mobile testing programs. • The contractor must provide routine test results within 72 hours from specimen receipt. • The contractor must also provide technical assistance and training to participating agencies regarding specimen collection procedures, proper labeling and shipping, and test ordering procedures.
