General Services for Maintenance & Facilities

The Irving Independent School District is seeking proposals for general services for maintenance and facilities. The district is looking for vendors to provide various crafts and trades on an "as needed" basis. The work may include carpenters, mill work, sheet metal fabricators, painters, plumbers, electricians, movers, welders, brick layers, and more. The contract will be for a term of one year with the option to renew for four additional 12-month periods. The district reserves the right to award the contract to multiple vendors. • The contract will be for short-term project contracts requiring various crafts/trades and general services. • The work included in this contract may include, but is not limited to, carpenters, mill work, sheet metal fabricators, painters, plumbers, electricians, movers, welders, brick layers, repair technicians for large kitchen equipment, small appliance repair, outside technicians, crane service, locksmith services, and automotive repair. • The district will provide access to all facilities and devices which are to be serviced. • The vendor shall respond to facility service requests within the following timeframes: emergency service calls within two hours, routine maintenance/repair calls as quickly as possible but no more than eight working hours.
