The United States Government is seeking information from contractors for engineering services and supplies to support the sustainment, upgrades, and repair of the AN/SPY-1 radar system across the AEGIS Fleet and AEGIS Ashore (AA) platforms. The Government intends to solicit and award a five-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) on an other than full and open competition basis to Lockheed Martin. The Government is seeking information to mitigate the sole-source basis and determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
• The scope of work includes engineering services and supplies for the AEGIS Weapon System (AWS), AN/SPY radars, and ancillary equipment.
• The effort is anticipated to be conducted on a sole-source basis due to the anticipated substantial duplication of costs to the Government and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the Navy's requirements.
• Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to participate.
• The Government may contact Sources Sought respondents to obtain clarification on the information submitted.
