REQUESTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE FROM PROFESSIONAL ARBORISTS

The City of Cortez is seeking professional arborists to provide on-call tree maintenance services. The selected contractor will enter into a Preferred Contractor Agreement with the City, which will outline the terms and conditions of the services to be provided. The agreement is expected to last for one year, from December 31, 2025, to December 30, 2026. The City is looking for contractors who can provide services such as tree pruning, trimming, removal, risk assessment, emergency, and on-call services. • The contractor must have relevant technical experience and years in business. • The contractor must have familiarity with City facilities and the capacity to meet the City's needs. • The contractor must have proper permits and licenses. • The contractor must provide examples of previous work, reliability, responsiveness, and any recent litigation. • The contractor must provide references. • The contractor must have staffing capacity to meet the City's needs, including emergency and on-call response.
