Description
The California Department of Water Resources is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a comprehensive light‑equipment rental program for its Delta Field Division. The contractor will maintain an inventory of light construction and utility equipment, deliver items to job sites or the O&M Center within 48 hours (4 hours for emergencies), and provide 24‑hour dispatch, training, maintenance, and repair services at no cost to DWR (except for damages caused by DWR personnel). The contract is a three‑year firm‑fixed‑price arrangement beginning October 1 2026, with performance requirements covering a broad geographic area across eight counties in the Delta region.
• Rental inventory includes air compressors, scissor lifts, boom lifts, generators, pumps, trailers, trucks, utility vehicles, boats, and related accessories (306 line‑items).
• Contractor must be located within 30 road‑miles of the DWR O&M Center in Byron, CA, and must hold CARB compliance, appropriate insurance, and a 3 % DVBE participation commitment.
• Bids must be submitted in duplicate (hard copy and electronic) by June 4 2026, with all line‑items priced (no blanks) on the revised bid sheet; only one award will be made.
