25-001 - 2026 Single Hauler Waste Collection and Disposal Program

The Township of Armada and the Village of Armada are seeking a single hauler for waste collection and disposal services. The successful bidder will provide weekly collection and proper disposal of mixed waste, recyclable materials, and seasonal yard waste/lawn debris. The contract term is five years, beginning on March 1, 2026, and ending on February 28, 2031. Key considerations for the bid award include bid pricing, capability and capacity, experience, financial stability, and ability to provide written proof of disposal facilities operating in accordance with state and federal laws. • The successful bidder must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the services. • The bidder must have experience in furnishing solid waste, recyclables, and seasonal yard waste/lawn debris collection and disposal services for comparably-sized municipalities. • The bidder must have financial stability and commitment to the business, including a minimum of two years of experience in municipal waste collection and disposal. • The bidder must be able to provide written proof that the disposal facilities to be utilized for the duration of the contract operate in accordance with Act 451 of the Public Acts of 1994, as amended.
