The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) for a construction project to prepare existing space on the fifth floor of the John Cochran VA Medical Center for two new cath lab imaging systems. The project includes renovation of several rooms, potential renovation of the control room, supply areas, and patient prep area, and other necessary work. The project must be completed within 210 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Key aspects of the project include: • General construction, alterations, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work • Utility systems, fire protection systems, abatement work, and demolition and removal of existing structures • Compliance with VA TIL, local, and National codes • Site investigations to inform the contractor of conditions and limitations • Guidance on working hours, ICRA requirements, ILSM, and division of responsibilities between contractor and equipment vendor
