The City of Sacramento is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on‑call emergency repair and securement services for privately‑owned abandoned properties. The contractor must be able to respond 24/7, board up structures, cover roofs, address hazardous electrical or plumbing issues, remove debris, and perform additional unscheduled repairs as directed. The work is performed on an as‑needed basis, with a minimum 5 % Local Business Enterprise participation requirement and no bid security or performance bond needed. • Services include board‑up, roof covering, electrical and plumbing restoration, debris removal, and general property maintenance. • Contractor must hold a California B‑1 General Contractor license, have at least two years of relevant experience, maintain a 24‑hour emergency line, and arrive on‑site within 60 minutes of notification. • Bids are due 2 Sept 2026 2:00 PM (hard‑copy or electronic), with a public bid opening the same day at 2:30 PM via Zoom; award anticipated the week of 1 Oct 2026.
