Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified vendor to provide a full‑service, pre‑hospital emergency medical treatment and transportation system for all 911 medical calls outside the City of Montgomery. The contractor must operate ALS‑equipped ambulances, staff them with qualified EMT‑III/Paramedic personnel, maintain a 24/7 dispatch center, and meet extensive insurance, bonding, and regulatory requirements. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with two optional one‑year renewals and includes a 5 % preference for locally based vendors.
• Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances, including one dedicated 24‑hour unit at specified fire stations.
• Staff each ambulance with at least two EMTs, one of whom must be a Paramedic (EMT‑III).
• Operate a 24/7 county dispatch center and maintain communication equipment, including liaison with the Sheriff's Office.
