Description
The San Francisco Community College District is seeking a qualified contractor to supply, install, and commission an emergency generator system for Batmale Hall. The work includes civil construction of a concrete pad, fencing, gas‑hook‑up, and full electrical integration to designated building panels, as well as providing as‑built documentation, operation manuals, and warranties. The contractor must adhere to California Title 24, prevailing‑wage, and extensive safety and certification requirements, and must be a “B” class licensed public‑works contractor. The contract duration is 418 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $500 per day for overruns.
• Core scope: generator (≈130 kW), ATS, transformer, wiring, concrete pad, fence, gas line, fire‑alarm tie‑in.
• Mandatory pre‑bid site visit on Oct 30 2025; bid due Nov 13 2025 2 PM (sealed).
