Specialized Training Services

The City of Chesapeake is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive training services, including first aid, adult/child CPR, AED, and choking. The training program should be accredited by a recognized organization and meet all relevant industry standards. The vendor should provide a blended learning environment, with online skills portion and in-person hands-on skills observation. The training should be tailored to accommodate participants with varying skill levels, and a two-year certification for participants is preferred. The vendor should also provide options for employees to renew their certifications, including refresher/review training sessions. • The training program must be accredited by a recognized organization such as the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross. • The training program must meet or exceed the standards set by the organizations above, OSHA regulations, and any relevant local, state, and federal guidelines. • The vendor should provide a list of their mobile training capabilities. • The vendor should offer train-the-trainer type courses. • The vendor should provide certification upon successful completion of the training, which certification must be valid for a minimum of two years.
