North & South Plant Chiller Replacement

Lamar University is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the North & South Plant Chiller Replacement project. The project involves replacing chillers at the university's campus in Beaumont, Texas. The successful respondent will be required to provide the described services, including chiller replacement, as specified in the solicitation documents. The university reserves the right to reject or accept any and all responses and to abandon the project. • The project requires a good faith effort to utilize Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) certified by the Texas Procurement and Support Services Division of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. • The university is exempt from sales tax and will provide an exemption form upon request. • The successful respondent will be required to submit certification of franchise tax status as required by state law. • The university will pay for work performed under the contract "net 30 days" in accordance with Texas Government Code, section 2251.021. • The contract will include the university's standard terms and conditions, plus the 2022 Uniform General Conditions for Construction Contracts.
