SyS Consulting Agreement

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is seeking a contractor to provide specialized services for the launch of the California Syndromic Surveillance Program (CalSyS). The contractor will be responsible for contributing to the program launch, supporting the development of program staffing structures, and researching the capabilities of SyS programs in other states. The contractor will also provide technical consultation regarding syndromic surveillance, informatics, and tools and resources to achieve CalSyS program goals. The key services include: • Contributing to the CalSyS program launch • Supporting the development of program staffing structures • Researching the capabilities of SyS programs in other states • Providing technical consultation regarding syndromic surveillance and informatics • Supporting the onboarding of hospital facilities to the CDC National Syndromic Surveillance Programs (NSSPs) BioSense platform • Developing program evaluation plans, goals, objectives, metrics, and processes
