Household Hazardous Waste Collection

The City of Waco is seeking a qualified contractor to provide household hazardous waste collection services for a one-day event. The contractor will be responsible for collecting, transporting, and disposing of household hazardous waste from participating cities. The event will be held on a Saturday in March, April, or May, and the contractor must be able to provide services for the collection event on a Saturday within this range of dates. The contractor will also be responsible for providing planning and assistance, mobilization and demobilization, collection responsibilities, labor and equipment, classification and segregation of waste, and proper record-keeping and manifesting of materials collected and transported. • The contractor must have experience in providing household hazardous waste collection services. • The contractor must be able to provide all necessary equipment and supplies for the collection, handling, packaging, transporting, and disposal of the collected waste. • The contractor must have a good safety and environmental compliance record. • The contractor must be able to provide a detailed scope of services and specifications for the project. • The contractor must be able to provide a pricing form and cost proposal for the project.
