The VA’s South Texas Veterans Health Care System is conducting a market research (Sources Sought) to identify qualified vendors capable of replacing fifteen (15) Grade 1 fire‑rated security doors across three VA pharmacy locations (Audie Murphy, Kerrville Medical Center, and North Central Federal VA Clinic). The effort includes full supply‑and‑install services—door frames, metal/wood doors, hardware, electronics, and mechanized assist devices—plus a three‑year maintenance cycle with annual inspections, emergency call‑back support, and compliance with NFPA, AAADM, ANSI, UL, and OSHA standards. Vendors must be able to provide AAADM‑certified technicians, handle permits, utility connections, and submit extensive documentation (QASP, work plans, preventive‑maintenance plans, safety plans, service reports, certifications). The contract will be awarded to a qualified small business (service‑disabled veteran‑owned, veteran‑owned, HUBZone, etc.) or large business as appropriate.
