Description
The Joint Transportation Committee is seeking a consultant to conduct an independent review of the Amtrak Cascades Preliminary Service Development Plan. The review will analyze the technical aspects of the plan, public engagement strategies, and effectiveness of communication within plan documents. The consultant will work with a Staff Technical Team and provide a final report summarizing findings and recommendations.
• The consultant will review the 2006 Long-Range Plan for Amtrak Cascades and the 2024 Preliminary Service Development Plan.
• The consultant will identify and confirm topics for review and analysis.
• The consultant will develop findings and recommendations through review, research, and analysis.
• The consultant will coordinate with the Staff Technical Team and provide draft reports.
• The consultant will attend meetings and provide presentations to the Joint Transportation Committee and other stakeholders.
