The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sacramento District is seeking industry feedback and input related to a future civil works project on Grand Island, located in Walnut Grove, California. The project involves assessing the feasibility of loading and unloading material off Grand Island by barge. Respondents are requested to provide information addressing the feasibility assessment, barge sizes and drafts, and shoreline proximity. The information gathered will be used to inform planning efforts to evaluate the viability of barge transport.
