Description
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) is seeking to procure a NextSeq 1000 Sequencing System from Illumina, Inc. The system will be used by the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System DNA Operations (AFMES-DNA OPS) to support their mission. The procurement includes the instrument, accessories, software, and a three-year Silver Support Plan. The vendor will be responsible for installation, qualification, and training.
• The system must be delivered to AFMES-DNA OPS in Dover Air Force Base, Delaware.
• The vendor must provide a manufacturer-certified engineer for installation and qualification.
• The training shall cover routine operation, software use, and user-level maintenance procedures.
• The application specialist will provide support for integrating the system with the existing Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
