Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking bids for a three-year contract to provide all labor, materials, and necessary incidentals for demolition and associated services. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with DEQ requirements for asbestos removal and disposal, and maintaining a clear line of communication with Jefferson Parish. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The contractor must hold a current Louisiana State Contractor's License and obtain any necessary permits.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and comply with Jefferson Parish's insurance requirements.
• The contractor must submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to asbestos removal and disposal.
• The contractor must maintain a clean and safe job site and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the contract.
