CNYNET – FIBER OPTIC CABLING – BID 2025-10-10

CNYNET, Inc. is seeking bids from qualified distributors to furnish fiber optic cabling materials for a 275-mile fiber optic network in Cayuga and Cortland County, New York. The required materials include outside plant rated fiber optic cabling, specifically 1,580,000 feet of 144-strand, Gel-Free, Stranded Loose Tube, Single Mode G.652.D and G.657.A1 fiber OSP cable. The contract term is through December 31, 2026. • The fiber optic cabling must be armored or have an alternative jacket for rodent resistance. • The cabling must have a fleet jacket marking and a black jacket color. • Bids must be submitted via email with the subject line BID # CNYNET 2025-10-10. • The due date for bids is October 31, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. • The contract term is approximately 14 months, from the date of award through December 31, 2026.
