Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking law firms to provide medical malpractice defense counsel services. The selected law firms will be required to provide representation to health care providers, provide counsel regarding the medical malpractice litigation process, and assist Mcare in handling the matter. The contract will be a requirements contract with negotiated compensation. The Commonwealth may select a contractor from the offeror(s) awarded contracts when services are needed.
• The law firm shall represent the HCP(s) before the Court of Common Pleas or Federal District Court.
• The law firm shall provide counsel to the HCP(s) regarding the medical malpractice litigation process.
• The law firm shall provide assistance to Mcare in the handling of the Matter.
• The law firm shall provide a full range of medical malpractice defense counsel services in the Matter.
