Professional Auctioneer Services-Personal Property

The County of Oneida is seeking a professional auctioneer to provide services for the sale of surplus personal property, including equipment, office supplies, motor vehicles, and miscellaneous items. The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting internet-based auctions, providing detailed descriptions of services offered, and ensuring the security, reliability, and ease of use of the auction website. The vendor must also perform clerical tasks, such as registration of bidders, recording of successful bids, and accounting for monies collected. The contract term is one year, with up to four renewal terms of one year each. • The vendor must have at least five years of experience providing auctioneering services to governmental entities. • The vendor must have experience with similar sizes and types of auctions, particularly auctions with annual gross revenues in excess of $200,000. • The vendor must provide a minimum of three governmental references. • The vendor must have adequate staff, equipment, and resources to successfully perform the services.
