Description
The Alexandria VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) is seeking home sleep apnea testing services that can provide direct mail order services, allowing the facility to expand patient access and reduce patient backlog. The contractor will be responsible for scheduling home sleep testing with patients, preparing and shipping devices to patients, providing 24/7 support, and ensuring patients perform the test timely. The contractor must also arrange for a board-certified sleep physician to interpret the study.
• The contractor must provide all requirements and objectives as specified in the Statement of Work.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal laws, regulations, and VA policies.
• The contractor must provide a plan for destruction of all VA data in its possession according to VA Directive 6500 and NIST 800-88.
• The contractor must provide documentation for risk management practices for supply chain delivery of hardware, software, and firmware.
• The contractor must comply with VA Handbook 6500 and Information Security Knowledge Service specifications.
