Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking qualified roofing contractors to provide comprehensive roof repair and maintenance services for a wide array of Caltrans facilities across District 03 (eleven counties). The contractor must supply all permits, labor, materials, equipment, travel, and incidentals, and must work directly without subcontracting. The contract is a small‑business IFPQ with a maximum total price of $484,000, and bids are evaluated on the lowest responsive price.
• Scope includes routine and non‑routine servicing of various roof types and associated structural components at Maintenance Stations, Safety Roadside Rest Areas, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facilities, Special Crew Stations, and other district sites.
• Required qualifications: C‑39 roofing license, California DIR registration, SB/MB/DVBE certification, compliance with prevailing‑wage, bonding, insurance, and safety requirements.
• Geographic focus: Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties; work to commence approx. Oct 1 2026 and run through Oct 1 2029.
