Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a quotation for a Chip Detector, Elect for use on MH-65. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This is a restricted requirement, and all responsible sources may submit a quotation. The USCG anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order on a brand name basis. The contractor must provide new manufactured commercial items from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an OEM-approved source. Some key points to note: • The USCG will evaluate quotes based on the lowest priced offer that is technically acceptable. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Conformance and a Certificate of Airworthiness. • The contractor must also provide documentation reflecting the complete unbroken history of ownership of the parts from purchase from the approved manufacturing source until delivery to the USCG. • The USCG reserves the right to inspect any non-conforming product or component. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and Homeland Security Acquisition Regulations (HSAR) provisions.

Budget estimate

$10,000 – $100,000

The budget for this opportunity is not explicitly stated in the document. However, based on the fact that the USCG is seeking a quotation for a specific product, it is likely that the budget will be a fixed price. The estimated budget range can be determined by considering the cost of similar products or services in the market. Assuming the Chip Detector, Elect is a specialized product with a moderate to high cost, the estimated budget range could be between $10,000 and $100,000.
