Sole Source Notice Mass Spectrometer Gas Analyzer

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking to acquire a Mixed Gas Analyzer (MATE MGA) with added Helium and Sample Altitude Measurement (SAM) capabilities. The equipment will be used in support of the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory (NSMRL) in Groton, CT. The procurement will be performed under simplified acquisition procedures, and the contract will be awarded to MA Tech Services, Inc., as they are the sole provider of the required items. • The required items must be compatible with existing penetration ports installed on the NSMRL Genesis chamber. • The procurement is justified as a sole source due to the proprietary data held by MA Tech Services, Inc. • The Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) currently uses the same equipment, ensuring consistency in data analysis.
