Description
The Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero is seeking bids for Cremation Services. The contractor will provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, personnel, and any other items necessary to provide DSH with Cremation Services on an as-needed basis. The term of the agreement is anticipated to be July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029. Bidders must meet minimum qualifications, including proof of legal right to do business in California, references, and licenses. The bid package should include all required documents, and bidders should carefully review the IFB requirements and scope of work.
• The contractor will provide cremation services for DSH on an as-needed basis.
• The contractor must have a Funeral Establishment License, Funeral Director's License, and Certificate of Authority and/or Crematory License.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance, including commercial general liability, pollution liability, and professional liability.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to data security and confidentiality.
• The contractor must provide a bid package that includes all required documents, including a bid submission checklist, minimum qualifications response, and bidder's certification.
