Description
The Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (MHBE) is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to plan, design, develop, enhance, and maintain various reports, dashboards, and data extractions, and perform Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) data analysis for the Health Benefit Exchange (HBX) and other systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex data extractions, analysis, report generation, and dashboard creation, as well as experience working in a complex IT organization developing queries and custom reports utilizing SQL, stored procedures, and complex queries.
Some key responsibilities of the job include:
• Designing, developing, building, and managing complex, operational, and federally mandated reports
• Identifying possible approaches for generating reports, dashboards, and data extraction requirements
• Writing complex queries in SQL for data extractions and developing reports in Tableau
• Interpreting data and performing data analysis for management decision-making, policy formulations, and review
• Utilizing database applications and analytical tools to evaluate data quality and maintain operations
• Analyzing business processes to develop data solutions, reports, and dashboards to meet reporting requirements
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment delivering data to various internal and external stakeholders
