Description
The Grand Haven Area Public Schools is seeking a general contractor to perform electrical and boiler upgrades at two schools: White Pines Intermediate School and Rosy Mound Elementary School. The project involves the replacement of existing electrical and boiler systems with new ones. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating all required work between different trades. The project is expected to start on June 5, 2026, and be substantially completed by August 21, 2026.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond of at least 5% of the base bid amount.
• The contractor must provide performance and labor and material bonds covering 100% of the project value.
• The contractor must comply with prevailing wage requirements.
• The contractor must submit a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationships with members of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of the School District.
• The contractor must submit an affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
