Description
Union County, North Carolina is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Civil Engineering Services for various projects on an as-needed basis. The selected firm(s) will provide work on an as-needed basis upon assignment by way of task order from Union County. The services will include traditional civil engineering services such as design, consulting, site plan review, land surveying, and more. The County will negotiate a contract with the best-qualified firm based on the scope of work listed in the RFQ.
• The services will be provided for capital projects, including those identified in the 2026 Union County Capital Improvement Plan.
• The selected firm(s) will be required to provide a written scope for each task order, which will be the basis of negotiations between Union County and the firm regarding fee, scheduling, personnel, and labor hours.
• The contract agreement will provide for payment for phases of work completed, with options to proceed through all phases or discontinue work as circumstances may dictate.
• The County reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, to waive technicalities, and to make such selection deemed in its best interest.
• The County encourages good faith effort outreach to Minority Businesses and Small Businesses.
