Mississippi Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (MS-BCCP) - Program Evaluator

The Mississippi State Department of Health is seeking an independent contractor to serve as a Program Evaluator for the Mississippi Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (MS-BCCP). The Program Evaluator will assist the program with developing, executing, and disseminating evaluation plans and findings to improve program effectiveness and achieve respective program goals. Key responsibilities include developing evaluation plans, guiding evaluation and utilizing evaluation findings, interpreting data, creating recommendations, and providing input on evaluation questions. The contractor will also be required to provide regular updates, conduct monthly teleconference or in-person meetings, and deliver a comprehensive final evaluation report. Some key aspects of the job include: • Developing, executing, and disseminating evaluation plans • Guiding evaluation and utilizing evaluation findings to inform program activities • Interpreting data to determine where to develop and implement strategies and interventions • Creating recommendations from findings and providing input on evaluation questions • Preparing annual executive summary and comprehensive evaluation reports • Ensuring reports are tailored to various audiences, including program staff, stakeholders, and funding agencies
