General Purpose Cleaning Rags and Towels

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking a vendor to provide general purpose cleaning rags and towels to the City's Consolidated Warehouse on an as-needed basis. The initial term of the agreement will be for three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The vendor must have a minimum of one year of experience in providing towels and rags, and must be able to obtain the minimum insurance requirements set forth in the agreement. The vendor will be responsible for delivering the goods to the City's Consolidated Warehouse, and must provide a single point of contact to administer the agreement. • The City is seeking a vendor to provide four different types of rags and towels: terry cloth rags, white thermal blanket rags, shop towels, and colorfast rags. • The vendor must provide pricing for every line item and be able to provide each item listed to be considered responsive. • The City estimates that it will need approximately 2,142 boxes of terry cloth rags, 59 boxes of white thermal blanket rags, 495 boxes of shop towels, and 1,915 boxes of colorfast rags per year. • The vendor must provide a sample of each product within 48 business hours after the close of the solicitation. • The City will provide a point of contact to administer the agreement and will promptly respond to issues and inquiries.
