NOTICE OF INTENT to Sole Source_Security for the HHS National Conference on Women's Health 2026

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract for unarmed security services in support of the HHS National Conference on Women's Health 2026. The contractor shall provide comprehensive event security services, including project management and coordination, deployment and staffing of magnetometers, K9 explosive detection sweeps, unarmed security officers, and development and execution of security protocols. • Experience providing armed event security services of similar size and scope • Capability to provide licensed armed and unarmed security personnel • Experience deploying magnetometers and K9 security services • Ability to develop and implement security protocols for large conference venues • Project management and coordination • Deployment and staffing of magnetometers for attendee screening • K9 explosive detection sweeps and continuous monitoring • Unarmed security officers (uniformed and plainclothes) • Roving supervisors • Development and execution of security protocols to mitigate identified vulnerabilities within event spaces
