The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of Riverside County Probation (RCP) is seeking proposals from qualified parties to provide services that assist clients between the age of 14 years and 25 years with transitioning to a less restrictive program for Transitional Housing. The services include support services such as transportation, trade skills training, and life skills training in the community. The goal is to provide a swift and effective transition from a Secured Youth Treatment Facility (SYTF) to a less restrictive program using innovative, trauma-informed approaches.
• The program targets clients aged 14-25 who have been committed to the PTS program and have been recommended for an LRP after a review hearing before the Court.
• The provider will offer transitional housing services, life skills training, educational services, vocational training, income assistance, and transportation for clients.
• The provider must track program activities and outcomes, providing quarterly reports to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of the services funded by the grant.
• The grant aims to facilitate a smooth transition and reduce recidivism by providing comprehensive support services, including access to life skills workshops, counseling, and peer support groups.
• The provider must ensure that all services are culturally relevant, gender-responsive, trauma-informed, and age-appropriate.
