Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids for the procurement and installation of a 50-ton HVAC package at the Holliday Unit. The scope of work includes removal, installation, start-up, and training. Bidders must provide a completed HUB subcontracting plan with their bid response. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
• The HVAC package must include a 50-ton unit with a total cooling load of 548 MBH and a supply fan with a minimum of 9800 CFM.
• The bidder must provide off-loading equipment to remove the existing unit safely.
• The bidder must provide training for up to 8 employees for a minimum of 8 hours.
• The contract includes a manufacturer's standard warranty for one year.
• The bidder must comply with TDCJ's security procedures, including having a security escort during deliveries and not interacting with inmates.
