Intent to Award Sole Source Contract - ID/IQ areawide Beckman Coulter, Inc - Automated Urine Chemistry & Urine Microscopic Instrumentation Reagents, Controls, Consumables, Service & Support for IHS Great Plains Area (GPA) hospitals & clinics

The Indian Health Service intends to award a sole source contract to Beckman Coulter, Inc. for the provision of Automated Urine Chemistry and Urine Microscopic instrumentation, reagents, controls, consumables, and service and support for hospitals and clinics in the Great Plains Area. The contract will be for a period of five years, and the estimated total value is above the simplified acquisition threshold. The sole source contract is due to the fact that Beckman Coulter, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the required equipment and the only authorized provider of service. * The contract is for the provision of Automated Urine Chemistry and Urine Microscopic instrumentation, reagents, controls, consumables, and service and support. * The contract will support all hospitals and clinics in the Great Plains Area Indian Health Service. * The contract is for a period of five years. * The estimated total value of the contract is above the simplified acquisition threshold.
