FCI Englewood - Repair FDC PK Boiler

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, is soliciting quotations for the repair of the FDC PK Boiler at FCI Englewood. The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing heat exchanger, supplying a new one, and installing and testing the new unit. The contractor must also furnish all labor, materials, tools, hardware, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The project requires a site visit, and all contractors must submit NCIC background investigation forms by March 13, 2026. The quotation due date is March 25, 2026. The contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), and the evaluation criteria will follow the Lowest Price – Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method. • The contractor must complete and submit the required forms, clauses, and statements with their bid. • The contractor must ensure that all workers have proper safety gear at all times. • The contractor must adhere to OSHA requirements and have a spill kit and containment procedures on site. • The contractor must have a Safety Representative on site at all times during the completion of the project. • The contractor must provide enough time at the conclusion of the workday for the return and accounting of all tools issued during the workday.
