The Village of Oak Park is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, load‑bank testing, and repair services for three Caterpillar diesel generators (475 kW, 725 kW, and 300 kW). The contract is a sealed‑bid, hourly‑rate agreement covering preventive maintenance, emergency response, and parts supply for the 2027 calendar year, with two optional one‑year extensions. The vendor must respond to service calls within 30 minutes, dispatch technicians for emergencies within 24 hours, and use OEM parts unless otherwise approved.
• Annual preventive maintenance for each generator, including detailed system inspections and a minimum 2‑hour 100 % load‑bank test.
• Rate‑based repair services with defined hourly rates for regular, after‑hours, double‑time, and emergency call‑out work, plus mileage and parts markup.
• Contract period runs through December 31 2027 (initial term) with possible one‑year renewals; rates must be valid for the entire 2027 calendar year.
